Florida is definitely not Las Vegas when it comes to gambling. The Seminole Tribe, which operates six casinos throughout the state and Disney have been making a lot of effort to keep it that way. To keep the competition at bay, both invested millions in a 2018 anti casino campaign. But those looking for a places in Miami to place a bet or two still have a ton of great options. If you are not in Florida, you can always go for online casino. This site : www.casinosjungle.com review the best casino platforms and casino games in the US.

The Casino @ Dania Beach

You should watch jai alai live at least once in your life, regardless of whether you know what a cesta is or not. The Casino At Dania Beach has hosted jai alai for more than 60 years. It is probably the best place to watch a group of guys throw a ball at speeds of 200mph and more. Even while jai alai doesn’t draw nearly as many spectators as it did at its height, the sport is nevertheless still popular. Matches are played six days a week here in arenas with 500 seats. You can also place bets on the results. If you would rather try your luck at something more famililar the casino has a 24 table card room and more than 750 slots.

Isle Casino Pompano Park

The Isle Casino Pompano Park features an entertainment district and a swimming lake.  It also has live harness racing throughout the winter, a poker area with more than 40 tables and approximately 1,500 slot machines.  on’t forget to fill up on the seafood buffet at Farmer’s Choice Buffet’s shrimp and crab legs. It’s customary to overindulge at this casino buffet.

Casino Miami

Since 2020 this casino close to Miami International Airport is the only casino in the whole state to offer a William Hill racebook. With its state-of-the-art viewing facility, the race book, which debuted in December 2019, accepts wagers on jai alai, thoroughbred, harness, and greyhound racing around the country. The expectation is that sports betting will one day be legalized in Florida. When that happens the race book will be a sports book as well. Casino Miami also provides live Jai alai and about 1,000 slot machines designed to resemble those found in Las Vegas if that’s not your thing. Don’t forget to enjoy the $50 in free play offered to new members.

Gulfstream Park

Desperately looking for a venue where you may watch the horses in person? With the exception of October and November, Gulfstream Park hosts live racing on its picturesque track, which has a pond in the middle. The kids will love marveling at the horses in the pasture. Be sure to check out t he 110-foot bronze Pegasus sculpture; the second-tallest statue in the United States after the Statue of Liberty.  Parking and track entry are both free, so there are two fewer expenses to account for when calculating your losses.

Hialeah Park Racing & Casino

Hialeah Park is one of South Florida’s most illustrious gambling locations. It first welcomed customers as the Miami Kennel Club back in 1922. The location was merely a greyhound racing track back then. Following a significant remodeling, the location now features more than 800 slot machines in addition to electronic roulette and blackjack. Players from all over the area attend tournaments that are frequently held in the poker room on the second floor. Besides that, horses have taken the position of greyhounds, with year-round racing simulcast on screens in the Champions Sports Bar and seasonal races held on-site. Due to the flamingo colony that lives on the racetrack’s grounds, Hialeah Park is also registered as an Audubon Bird Sanctuary on the National Register of Historic Places.

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

You can’t miss the 450-foot-tall, guitar-shaped hotel from the Turnpike or from nearly anywhere else within a few miles.   The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino had a $1.5 billion renovation that was finished in late 2019 and now featues a 46-table poker area, 193 new table games, and 3,000 new slot machines. Furthermore, the property offers a 4.5-acre lagoon-style pool, the fine-dining Japanese restaurant Kuro, and the best music and comedy performances of any South Florida casino. Additionally, the location has a morbid pop-culture history; Anna Nicole Smith passed away there in 2007 after accidentally overdosing on prescription medication.

Magic City Casino

The Magic City Casino claims that it pays out more jackpots than any other casino in Miami and has 800 slot machines available. Jai alai also took the place of greyhound racing in 2018 after Floridians decided to outlaw it.

The Big Easy Casino

The Mardi Gras Casino was left in ruins in 2017 when Hurricane Irma tore the building’s roof off. At that point, Jeffrey Soffer, owner of the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, intervened to buy the building. The location was refurbished and given the new moniker Big Easy.  More than 700 slots can be found here, and it claims to have the most video poker machines in Florida. If you want  to smoke while playing you can use the smoking patio. It also has flat-screen TVs, plush chairs and slot machines.

Miccosukee Resort & Gaming

You probably haven’t come across Miccosukee Resort & Gaming if you’ve never traveled further west than Tamiami. If that’s the case you have definitely missed out. Players can choose from 2,000 machines here, including both new releases and vintage slots. You c an also celebrate a big win by spending the night at the resort. Alternatively you can enjoy a few martinis at the bar.

Seminole Casino Coconut Creek

You don’t need to visit a machine to satisfy your blackjack itch here. Seminole Casino Coconut Creek is one of just a few Florida casinos that are legally permitted to provide live-action blackjack. Although popular with smokers it  has a nonsmoking second level and 2,000 slot machines. Treat yourself at NYY Steak, a high-end steakhouse with a New York Yankees concept, if lady luck is on your side.
